Lindell & Co. is committed to slow design and minimizing environmental impact. Each cushion is hand-embroidered in Kashmir using the traditional 14th-century chain stitch technique. Skilled master embroiderers create each piece in small quantities, with production taking 3 to 4 days per cushion. The process includes dyeing wool, tracing designs, and embroidering with a crochet needle called an "ari," with up to 20,000 stitches for a small cushion. Quality is paramount, and each piece is carefully checked before reaching the customer, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and timeless beauty.
