House of Capricorn, the latest love labour from Paula Amorim, celebrates the skilled artisans and artists who create and preserve traditions, sharing stories of time-honored crafts through unique objects that blend timeless design with contemporary aesthetics.

Crafted from a cotton-linen blend, the Carlota pillow is a beautiful example of the brand ethos. It’s produced using an ancient Portuguese weaving technique mastered by only a few – the Tear, a manual loom requiring both hands and feet – and hand-embroidered by skilled weavers in the north of Portugal.

Weedy Crochet Shirt

Bode, the New York-based menswear brand, blends vintage aesthetics with intricate hand-crafted details. The label uses repurposed materials and traditional heritage techniques to create pieces that tell stories of Americana and global artisanship.  

Handmade in India, the Weedy crochet shirt reimagines a 1920s antique tunic trimmed with vibrant crochet details. Its floral patterns and whimsical charm embody Emily Adams Bode’s (founder) dedication to craftsmanship, heritage, and sustainable and timeless design.

Flattering to all types of bodies with its oversized cut, the Aitake knitted dress is a beautiful example of the brand ethos. It highlights the prestige of Portuguese craftsmanship, using Lusitanian wool woven into hand-made embroideries by the skilled artisans of Lixa, in the north of Portugal, who meticulously craft this using heritage techniques.

His iconic Le Pop stool, inspired by a school chair found in a flea market, reinvents vintage furniture with bold colors and recycled materials. Handcrafted by craftspeople in France from steel and recycled acrylic, it's 100% recyclable, reflecting Badier’s commitment to sustainability.  
 
First debuted at the Centre Pompidou during Design Week in 2021, it is now featured in museums around the world like MoMA and the Musée du Design.

Papier Carbone by Ormaie is a fragrance born from the shared memories of Baptiste Bouygues and his mother, Marie-Lise Jonak (the founders). Bright bergamot and coffee recall lively mornings in the classroom, while cardamom and badian add a playful spice, evoking childhood snacks and carefree afternoons. 
 
A heart of clary sage, lavandin, and coriander conjures the school library’s quiet warmth, with patchouli, Haitian vetiver, and guaiac wood grounding it in the comforting scent of old books and paper. The Raven clutch reimagines Edgar Allan Poe’s dark tale turning storytelling with intricate embroidery into wearable art, while the Blue Coral clutch celebrates marine beauty as a nod to vintage natural history books. All clutches are limited edition and numbered chronologically, making each piece unique.
