Lapima

Lapima is an independent Brazilian luxury eyewear brand founded in 2016 by entrepreneurs Gisela Assis and Gustavo Assis. Designed and handcrafted in its in-house atelier in Campinas, São Paulo, each pair of glasses reflects a philosophy of slow craftsmanship, sculptural design, and exceptional quality. Inspired by Brazil’s diverse landscapes, modernist architecture, and visual arts, Lapima creates distinctive frames that combine bold organic forms with timeless elegance. Every piece passes through more than 30 handcrafted stages, using premium Italian cellulose acetate and internationally certified lenses, and is meticulously finished by artisans trained within the brand. Guided by a couture approach, Lapima transforms eyewear into wearable works of art that celebrate Brazilian design, individuality, and enduring craftsmanship.
